Thinking

I've been fairly busy the past couple weeks. Just when I thought I had a weekend off, I remembered I have a birthday party Friday night after work and then the PBR Salina invitational Saturday. Oh well. Should be fun!

This past weekend I actually stayed in Friday night and had a bachelorette party Saturday night, which was A LOT of fun! Oh, and Friday was my dogs birthday! I can't believe he is a year old!

I wonder sometimes if I am doing the right things. They say before you ask if you are doing things right as if you are doing the right things. ?? I don't know. Do you forgive and forget or just forgive, but not forget? Is that really forgiveness? I am not one to hold a grudge. I hate confrontation too. But am I selling myself short if I give in? Does EVERYONE deserve a second chance? Those are some of the questions I have in my head now. I did forgive. I didn't let myself get too wrapped up in the situation and will continue to see things from outside the box and not get wrapped up in it all again. Hopefully I'm doing the right things.

Well, off to bed. Long day tomorrow =)

Busy

Trying to get back into the swing of things! I had a very busy weekend with Jason Aldean, No Justice, Eli Young and the Rodeo. I am exhausted! I can't believe tomorrow is only Thursday. Hopefully the rest of the week goes by fast.

The concerts were great! I had so much fun. I really enjoyed the Rodeo as well. Now its time to get back into reality. I am house hunting and have been for a month or so. Not going so well. I can't seem to find a place I am in love with and I definitely will not settle. Hopefully it gets warmer and I won't have to do this in the cold! It's hard to really take time to look at the outside of the house when you are freezing and just want to get in where it is warm. lol.

I have also been on this health kick. Eating well, going to the gym and all around just living a better lifestyle. I am going to try to keep this up =) That's all for now. Gonna turn the heat up a bit and hit the hay!

Cold Weather??

I would really like the forecast tonight to be a lie. I am really not looking forward to waking tomorrow morning with the freezing weather and snow?! I guess we kind of got a bit of a tease with it not feeling too much like winter. Looks like I will be spending most of the time indoors. (at least this week)

Jason Aldean is still on for Friday night, cold weather or not!!! I will just have to run from my car to the entrance of the Cotillion. =) I don't have too much to blog about tonight. Just another Tuesday. Not a great day of work. Had to put down a puppy that had parvo. Some people really frustrate me when they get new puppies and don't vaccinate them. Maybe they should be charged with neglect or something. If you didn't vaccinate your child, you would definitely be in a lot of trouble. Who knows.. I don't make the rules =) Maybe someday! Off to bed.

Oh, I try an add a picture that applies to the blog, but didn't really have a "theme" tonight... I opted for the family pic. Me, my sister Mikayla, brother Michael and mom.

Boland

Well, sad news... I had to bring back Dixie. She was just too aggressive with my little man (Rodeo). I am sure she will be adopted and go to a good home where she can be an only child.

So, I went to the Jason Boland concert on Sat night. It was pretty good. Probably not as good as Jason Aldean is going to be on Friday night, however, it was a good time!! Now I just have to make it through this long week at work! One of the girls I work with is having pregnancy troubles so we are all picking up more hours. I don't mind at all, I just hope everything goes well with her!

Other than that, I've just been hanging in. Not feeling too good the last couple days, but my humidifier seems to help =) At least I get to sleep in tomorrow a bit. (unless my dog wakes me up again). One day at a time.. and one day closer to the weekend!

Sleepy!

Friday, it is! (Although I do have to work tomorrow for a few hours!) <- not a big deal considering we have 7 new puppies coming in for wellness exams =) Fun fun!! Debating on going to Jason Boland sat night since next weekend I am going to be VERY busy with Jason Aldean Friday night and the Pro Wrangler Rodeo sat night. Oh well, I guess I will see how tomorrow goes. As for the dogs..... things seem to be getting WORSE!! She just does not like my other dog. I mean, he is a little rambunctious most of the time, but that was the point in trying a new dog, someone for him to play with. There could be some good out of this whole situation though. We have a client at work who lost a lab mix about 4 months ago and she has been looking for one since then. She does not want a puppy and would like a fairly calm dog. PERFECT! I would much rather give her to someone who I know is going to take care of her then bring her back to the humane society. I could care less if I just spent all that money on her.. at least she will live =) I really hope she is still interested in a dog (crossing my fingers!) Well, that's all for tonight. Going to watch the news and then head to bed. Early morning!!

New addition, Dixie.

Some may say I am spur of the moment... I like to think of it as "you only live once." I've been debating a little about getting another dog to keep my current one (Rodeo) company. So I made a trip to the humane society yesterday to adopt this time. Rodeo came from a breeder and I have always wanted to adopt a dog anyway. I walk in and there are SOO many cute puppies!!! I made myself walk away, remember how much I really do not want to go through potty and puppy training again. I get into the back where the older dogs are and immediately fall in love with a little 4 year old brown lab mix. I ask to meet with her and find out she is the sweetest girl in the world! I brought Rodeo with me so he could meet his new brother/sister as well. I get him out of the car and both tails are wagging. It was a great meeting! Needless to say, I have a new dog now. I get home after buying her a new collar and crate to sleep in and she starts growling at Rodeo! Okay, did she really know what was going on at the humane society and play nice so I would take her? She is still a loving sweet dog to people, but has not yet warmed up to poor rodeo, who just wants to play!! I have been up most of the night letting them get used to each other...even though they have been sleeping most of the time!! We will see how the next week goes. I know it is going to take some time, but hopefully Rodeo and Dixie learn to love each other!
